I hope you are all well.
The return to school for additional key worker/vulnerable children and some of our Reception, Year One and Year Six pupils so far has gone really well.
Following the government announcement today, we are re-surveying all parents/carers again to determine what the needs are for our families now.
As you will have seen, the government have now changed their stance with regards to all children returning to school prior to the summer holidays.
It is clear that with bubbles of 15 children there is not enough space or staff to have all children back on site.
When the survey is completed the results will be analysed and all key worker children will be given a priority place. Parents/Carers will be asked for evidence from their employer to state they are a key worker.
Once the numbers of key worker children are determined, we will then consider if it is feasible to open any additional year group bubbles.
Here is the link to the survey:
THE SURVEY MUST BE COMPLETED FOR EACH CHILD AND RETURNED BY 11.6.2020 by 9AM. Any survey responses after this time will not considered. This will formulate our updated risk assessments and staffing
Our main priority at this difficult time is to ensure all of our children and staff are safe. This is at the forefront of every decision we make and something we will not compromise on.
Thank you so much to all of you for your continued support. We really appreciate all of your kind words.
